Our Staff
Jon Grice
Lead Pastor
jon@churchrox.com
Jon is married to Mary Beth and has two daughters, Katie and Christy,
two step-sons, Cameron and Ross and three grandchildren, Ashton, Ayden
and Allie.
Jon graduated from Minnesota Bible College (now Crossroads College) and pastored in Cleveland, MN from 1978-1987 and here at Roxbury from 1987-2000. Jon stepped back from the vocational ministry for a time and in 2005 was called to serve again at Roxbury in an Associate capacity.
Jon hopes I Corinthians 15: 10 will define his life, “But by the grace of God I am what I am and his grace to me was not without effect…” Mary Beth and Jon enjoy hiking and biking together, reading, laughing and time with family. Jon also likes most sports, but outside of making divots in a golf course, he watches more than plays.
Marc Grindle
Family Pastor
marc@churchrox.com
Marc and his wife Denise have six children, Trevor, Samantha, Timothy, Benjamin, Daniel, and Jeremiah.
Marc became a Christian when he was 20 years old. Shortly after this the kids started coming and then came God’s call into ministry. Having already begun a family, Marc decided to take a less traditional route and enrolled in Summit Theological Seminary to get his education through distance education, along with hands-on ministry and mentoring. Marc then ministered at the Sugar Grove Church of Christ (Soldiers Grove, WI) from 1997-2000. He then moved to Minnesota to minister with the Dassel Church of Christ in Dassel, MN from 2000-2008. Marc came to Roxbury as Family Pastor in the summer of 2008.
Marc’s life verse is Galatians 2:20, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
In his spare time Marc enjoys spending time with his family, woodworking and other “projects”. He is also a big Green Bay Packers fan and an avid golfer (even though he is not very good).
Diane Casper
Church Secretary
roxbury@churchrox.com
Diane calls our office the “communication center” of the
Church of Christ. Her goal is for the office to be the central nervous
system for the church’s ministries and the communication center
that connects people to ministry and ministry to people.
Diane graduated with the first graduating class of Parker High School in Janesville, Wisconsin; attended Lincoln Christian College for one year; married Terry over 34 years ago; and feels God gave her three wonderful children (Julane, Shawn & Chad).
Diane has been our church’s secretary since 1981. She says of her work: “I’m thankful for the opportunity to serve God and this church through the unique ministry of being the church secretary. Though there are challenging times, no other job provides such a loving, caring and accepting atmosphere.”
