We are...
A CHRISTIAN CHURCH... FOCUSED ON JESUS!
Roxbury began in 1952 and relocated in 1962 to our current location.
The Bible says that as followers of Jesus, we have been adopted by God (Galatians 4:4-5). This makes us spiritual brothers and sisters. We strive to make this more than just words, but try and practice this wonderful reality.
Matthew 4:19 gives us the definition of a "disciple of Jesus"
Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!”
- Matthew 4:19, NLT
Jesus is not only our Savior... He is our teacher, our example, and our life coach.

- Matthew 4:19, NLT
Once we make a commitment to FOLLOW Jesus, the Bible says we are "justified" and God looks at us "just as if we had never sinned." Another way of saying this is we are "made righteous" or "made right" in God's eyes because of God's grace, Jesus' sacrifice, and our faith in him. Now we begin what the Bible calls "sanctification" or the process of becoming more like Jesus.
We can not do this alone, we need God's Spirit and other people! And we place a very high value on relationships that help us grow closer to God and one another. Although we do this in many ways, our primary life change vehicle are Life Groups. To learn more about or join a Life Group, click the button below.

Jesus came to "seek and save the lost" (Luke 19:10) this was his mission and the mission he left with us (Matthew 28:18-20).
Therefore, our primary mission is to "make disciples who make disciples." Or you could say, we are called to "fish for people" or BE ON MISSION WITH JESUS and serve those around us.
